Iman Fahim Hameed is a researcher in life sciences with an avid interest in writing, public health and the social sciences. She experiments with synesthetic writing, vignettes and world English. She has performed spoken word twice at Thithikudhe: Tamil Open Mic Night between 2017 and 2018. She also created Katha, a community platform for artists to collaborate on multidisciplinary explorations. She conceptualised and directed her first Katha project that examined gendered spaces by bringing together writers, artists and classical dancers to explore gendered spaces within the home and hosting a conversation on the art produced by the collaborative.
